The ever famous 2018 British Grand Prix is quite well known, not for what it was but rather what is was not. Excessive rainfall led to the cancellation of Cal Crutchlow’s home GP and with that, the 2018 season was down to 18 races.
So the question of the week, will lightning strike twice? Will Silverstone endure enough wet race weekend?
Although Mother Nature can change her path unexpectedly (and often does!), the forecast outlook for this weekend is looking promising. In fact, race day is forecasted to have clear skies and full sun. With that, riders can expect elevated circuit temperatures as the asphalt absorbs the incoming solar radiation from morning to afternoon.
